Company History

The Managing Director, Mr Alan Curdy, has been involved in the Security Industry for over 12 years, working on site as a Security Guard, then Supervisor, until eventually forming his own company in 1997.

Apart from having his own contracts, he has also supplied Security personnel to the then Premier Security (Scotland) Ltd. He has worked with both BSIA (to be known as SIA from 1st April 2003) and SITO (Security Industry Training Organisation).

A & G Securities, the holding company has achieved ISI standards and is now part of the enrolled company scheme with ISI (Inspectorate of Security Industry), which is part of the NSI. Mr Curdy is also a fully qualified SITO Training Officer in Static Guarding and Patrolling.

As you may or may not be aware, all security companies (under the new legislation coming into force 2003/2004) MUST be ISI certified and have full BS Standards.

As our first improvement to our customers all security personnel shall be uniformed and carry I.D. cards. All our company improvements shall bring in a more professional service, which in the long term can only benefit both customer and company. These improvements will not affect the cost of your security requirements.
